Welcome
I am an experienced software developer and born-again AI researcher, with an interest in image recognition, deep learning, and remote sensing. I combined all of these facets whilst undertaking postgraduate research for an MSc and studying the topic of applying neural networks to the detection of small scale garbage dumps through automated analysis of satellite imagery.
As part of my research I put together some tools to aid in data collection, augmentation, model training, evaluation and testing. As I continued my researches beyond the postgraduate course, I synthesized these into an integrated toolset that aids in all of these tasks. From this was born deepTerra.
This website is devoted to describing the features and capabilities of deepTerra, how I am applying it to my own research interests, and where I hope to take it in the future. I envisage regular updates being made as I progress.
If anyone is interested in my efforts and/or in deepTerra then please be free to drop me a message via the contacts section.
